Intelligence Community

Definition/Scope: The IC consists of the 16 member organizations. Both DOD and non-DOD members of the IC routinely provide support to JFCs while continuing to support national decision makers. However, the focus of national organizations is not evenly split among intelligence customers and varies according to the situation and competing requirements as prioritized by the national intelligence leadership. The IC members are: CIA, State Department, Energy Department, Justice Department, DEA, Treasury, DIA, NGA, NSA, NRO, DHS, USCG, NCPC, DNI, NCTC and DoD.
