Foreign Disclosure Officer
Definition/Scope: (AR 380-10) An Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) is a DA member designated in writing to oversee and control coordination of specific disclosures of classified military information (CMI). FDOs are authorized for appointment to the lowest command or agency level that is the proponent for Armyoriginated, -developed or -derived CMI and that routinely discloses U.S. CMI to foreign governments or international organizations in support of approved U.S. Army international programs.
