Officer Basic Course Adjutant General

Definition/Scope: The first step in the development of a Adjutant General lieutenant is the Adjutant General Officer Basic Course. It is a 13-week course where the students will receive an introduction to the Army with an emphasis on both tactical and branch-specific technical training. The course will prepare the Soldiers for their initial duty assignment in personnel and administration positions. Included in AGOBC is a 10-day Brigade Command Post Exercise (CPX) and Field Training Exercise (FTX).
