honored for efforts
22Jan 10 – Moving furniture in your house can be challenging. Relocating nearly 100 phone and data lines could have been a nightmare for Collective Training Directorate employees and contractors. But that wasn’t the case thanks to two Network Enterprise Center employees.
In December, COL(P) Paul E. Funk, Deputy Commander of the Combined Arms Center-Training (CAC-T), presented CAC-T commemorative coins to Teresa Hill and Doug Sage for their above-and-beyond assistance with the Collective Training Directorate office restructuring in late November. Working as a team, Hill and Sage relocated phone and data lines and wired 20 additional “drops” during the four-day restructuring. “Teresa and Doug worked so efficiently that our employees were only without phone service for a minute or two,” says Bob Banning, Collective Training Directorate Deputy Director. “They allowed us to stay connected and continue working in the midst of the moving commotion.”
Collective Training Directorate offices are located in the Trolley Station at Fort Leavenworth. The Collective Training Directorate is part of the Combined Arms Center-Training, which delivers training programs, products and services to leaders and units in support of Army readiness to conduct full-spectrum operations in any environment.
