WO Courses

The Officer Education System for Warrant Officers provides pre-apppointment and leader development training to develop technically and tactically competent warrant officers.

Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS) at the USAWOCC. Graduation includes appointment to warrant officer.

Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC) at the Branch/MOS proponent school. WOBC provides technical certification in the new warrant officer's primary specialty.
Action Officer Development Course (AODC) is a prerequisite studies course to be completed prior to the advanced course.
Warrant Officer Advanced Course (WOAC) is a professional development course at the Branch/MOS proponent school. Portions of the WOAC may be on line.
Warrant Officer Staff Course (WOSC) is a professional development course at the USAWOCC.
Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course (WOSSC) is a professional development course at the USAWOCC.

Technical training is predicated on proponents' identification of required warrant officer skill levels.
