Soldiers demonstrate virtual training system
MG Robert Brown (left) discusses the Dismounted Soldier Training System (DSTS) with Army Chief of Staff GEN Raymond Odierno (center) while Soldiers conduct a training demonstration at Fort Bennning, GA. The DSTS trains Soldiers on individual and collective tasks. DSTS also supports training mission rehearsals for a wide array of scenarios based on the actual terrain where Soldiers may fight. TCM Virtual at Fort Leavenworth, KS, manages the DSTS program, which will be begin fielding throughout the Army this year. MG Brown is the commanding general of the Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning.
Revolutionary training simulations start soon
