• Tax Season Hours : Monday through Friday 0900 – 1600 (closed on Federal holidays). Also open the selected Saturdays 0900-1400 (call for dates).

• Location : 3rd Floor of the Garrison Resiliency Center, Building 198, Fort Leavenworth.

  Call ahead to coordinate handicapped access.

• Eligibility : Active Component (AC), activated Reserve Component (RC), AC and RC members receiving military retirement or disability pay, and family members of each category. Consult AR 27-3 for additional eligibility criteria.

• Scope of Services : Free Federal & State tax preparation and electronic filing. Most individual income to include –

• Sch A (itemized deductions), Sch B (interest/dividends)

• Sch D (stock/mutual fund sales, basis assistance)

• Sch E (rental home income & sales)

• Sch C (if substantially self-completed by taxpayer)

• On Post Family Child Care Providers

• Most K-1 Income (trusts, estates, partnerships, S-Corp)

• Military residency & State tax issues

• Amended Federal and State returns

• Assistance with IRS and State correspondence

• Limitations to service may apply
