Gen. James Mattis, Commander, US Joint Forces Command, spoke to staff, faculty and students of the US Army Command and General Staff College Oct. 29 in the Eisenhower Auditorium of the Lewis and Clark Center.  Gen. Mattis' topic, "Preparing for Future War," touched on transformation, the future threat environment, and making Irregular Warfare a core competency while maintaining balance.
