General Sir Peter Wall, Commander-in-Chief Land Forces, United Kingdom, addressed students, faculty and staff at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College Oct. 27 in the Eisenhower Auditorium of the Lewis and Clark Center.  Gen. Wall is the 2009 British Army Kermit Roosevelt Lecturer. The Kermit Roosevelt lecture exchange between the military forces of the US and UK began in 1947.  The initiative for the exchange started with Mrs. Kermit Roosevelt, whose husband died while serving on active duty with the US Army in 1943.  In addition to the Command and General Staff College, Gen. Wall is also making presentations at the National Defense University, the Army War College, the US Military Academy, and at the Pentagon.
