New video explains how ATN improves training


This TRADOC NOW!! video explains how the Army Training Network helps commanders plan, prepare, execute and assess training. Training Management Directorate Director Col. Thomas Trossen says ATN's resources make it easier for commanders to conduct training. ATN is the one-stop shop for Army training resources.

CSM Rose receives award for CAC-T service


Command Sgt. Maj. Donald L. Rose Jr., who served as the sergeant major of the Combined Arms Center – Training, receives the Legion of Merit Award from Brig. Gen. Joseph M. Martin. Martin is the Deputy Commanding General of CAC-T. After two years at CAC-T, Rose assumed his duties last week as the Command Sergeant Major of the 1st Army Division East. Martin said Rose “had a Goliath impact” at CAC-T. Martin noted that Rose took the lead in promoting NCO Corner, a web site on the Army Training Network. NCO Corner provides noncommissioned officers with a variety of resources to improve unit readiness and develop leaders. Rose said in his new job he will tell Soldiers and commanders about the benefits of CAC-T’s programs and services.

FORT EUSTIS, Va. – The Combined Arms Center – Training (CAC-T) will hold a Training and Education 2025 Industry Forum from June 18-19 to inform industry partners of Army training and education gaps as well as discuss training and education capabilities for the Army of 2025 and beyond.

Army launches new version of Virtual Battle Space



VBS3 is the Army’s flagship three-dimensional gaming program to train Soldiers and develop leaders. The new version has better graphics and other improvements to make training more realistic and easier to plan.

Starting March 31, VBS3 became available for downloads on the Milgaming web site: https://milgaming.army.mil. The site is managed by the TRADOC Capability Manager – Virtual & Gaming (TCM-V&G), which is responsible for the Army’s Games for Training Program.
