The Combat Studies Institute is pleased to announce the release of "Victory Starts Here: A Short 40-Year History of the Training and Doctrine Command," by Benjamin King. This new edition of "Victory Starts Here" is an account of the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in its first four decades of existence. The study examines the original vision that drove the establishment of the command and how TRADOC has met the challenges posed by both the Nation's wars and the pressures of peacetime. Throughout, the history recounts TRADOC's commitment to the trinity of training, doctrine, and the future.
